Next Summer
(written by Saskia Boree)
Old lady's in the park
Between their fingers a cigarette
Umbrella's above ornate hair
Weirdo's inside their heads
But hey, can I save them?
Young lady's on a blanket
One of them plays guitar
You see them everywhere
While their boyfriends drives cars
But hey, do I know them?
In spite of that It's sultry tonight
The end of this summer's in sight
And I can't help that.... so
CHORUS
In the gutter from a grocery- store
Working a busy plumber
Some students with ordinair clothes
Screaming: 'YEAH! See ya next summer!'
And I scream with them too:
'See Ya Next Summer, you 2!'
Old grandad sitting on a balkony
Dozing in the yellow sun
A couple of wild ducks
Are following by a child, and on the run
While a junky put a squirt in his arm
What makes him dumber
In spite of that It's sultry tonight
The end of this summer's in sight
I can't help that so: SeeYa Next Summer!
(chorus)
In spite of that It's sultry tonight
The end of this summer's in sight
And YEAH I can't help that
I can't help that
(chorus)
YEAH SeeYa Next Summer!
SeeYa Next Summer!
SeeYa Next Summer!
SeeYa Next.......
