Woke up this morning with a sad thought
Seems like it was my idea, but more my fault
All days are too short, while nights are long
Cutting the ropes, but I think I’m all wrong
The story is gone, nothing more to talk about
Seems nothing’s really solved, but I try to be strong

Feels like I’m so tired
It’s too much to get inspired
Here should be the answer I’ll say
Open up the windows, catching sunshine
Take my pen to cross that line
Feels like I’m just one footstep away

Woke up this morning all exploded inside
Seems like it wasn’t my sense to collide
All days are wasted, all hours faded
The lies aren’t really gone, only overrated
All stories are gone and pushed away the pride
Seems nothing’s solved, nothing was really related

Go away with all what was tired
Seems all in me is getting inspired
Here’s the answer, I’m no longer afraid
Open up the windows, it should glitter and shine
Take my pen to make it all mine
Feels like I’m just one footstep away
